Shopaholic Saturday, March 28, 2009 "When u walk into a shop and smell the leather shoes... Shopping is the most wonderful thing in the world. When you shop, everything becomes beautiful!" Is that true? Do all shopaholic feels the same way? Watch Rebecca Bloomwood(Isla Fisher stars), shop like mad in Confession of a Shopaholic! I watched the show with Chantel today and I really had a good laugh watching all those really bonkers events that took place in the movie that are absolutely funny. I would say that the show is really good although I find it a little long but the movie was totally worth watching. You cannot say that shopping is a sin, I mean shopping centres are there for you to SHOP to BUY things and to SPEND money$$... but I seriously do not understand why would anyone be able to just spend money on things that they just have one look at and say 'I love it' though afterwards they will find themselves saying 'Did I buy it? because I do not need them' -.- It is a total waste of money and very unwise even though I know it is human nature to crave for things. I suppose, if you have the money, then perhaps you can afford 'shopping carelessly' If you do not, better go jog or sth instead of taking up such a costly sport:D I would love to try being a shopaholic for one day:) maybe I will just get addicted to it. So, I better not try >< Friday, March 20, 2009  P6 class gathering was held on thurs. I wonder when was the last time I managed to attend 6E class gathering, I could hardly rmb. The guys did not really change much though some girls did. Elisa is still ever so tall. Angie's voice is still as sharp as ever and Hui Ling is still as 'cartoon' ever:D Those are the girls that did not change. O.o and Mabel too, she looks exactly the same!!! Although not the whole class is present but it was really a good gathering where we catch up with one another. We had BBQ and the guys are so not helpful, sitting at side chatting and laughing at us when we made the satay burnt -.- How nice of them. At least Zi Song and Qi En helped a little and I think besides these two guys and Yang Cheng, I don't remember any other guys talking to the girls. They were practically crowding at the gate like a pack of wolves and chattering away. Weird. Played bridge with Angie, JianYing and Chia Chia. Won one out of two rounds....:D I wonder when the next gathering will be.... hope more ppl will turn up then :) Hotel for dogs Dog Lovers listen up!!! Even though the movie 'Hotels for dogs' may be more suitable for mostly kids and teens but if you are a dog lover, u so got to watch this movie. Seriously, how can you resist watching a show where you can find really adorable dogs (a variety, not just one type) all over the movie? I can tell you this show is a comedy, yes. However, it is spreading the message about stop killing lovely dogs too. A very meaningful show which I find quite touching and brings me lots of laughter too. Watch it with Chantel and we are really drawn to the dogs esp Georgia and Friday. By the way, '17 again' is coming soon! Agreed to watch it with Chantel so we are waiting for the movie to be leased:D Tuesday, March 17, 2009 HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEI XUAN AND TLQ!!! what the hell... i am suffering from sunburn from the camp -.- ITC Monday, March 16, 2009 I am so tired after the UG camp that I hardly wish to move when we break camp. Wanted to update my blog yesterday but I still had not fully recover from fatigue yet. I always thought that the NCOs have the easiest life during the camp but omg, I am so totally wrong... The NCOs are the suffering ones. Not enough time to sleep, busy from morning till night. We did not even have time to rest when the cadets are still sleeping sweetly. Anyway, I do hope that the candlelite night has been enjoyable to all, though it was really short. There was a whole lot of HO and CIs during the camp and I am so pissed off by them most of the time. The whole NCO squad feel that way too. Not only me. Camp was made unenjoyable thanks to them. Just as we were enjoying ourself, spending time talking and joking with one another, stupid bunch of snobs tell us off for some lame stuff. I wont say that all of them are mean but there really are those who think highly of themselves and think of us as childish. WTF! Especially the oldest batch of woman HOs. Totally irritating though one of them was nice, the one that appeared only on the second day evening. The other one was a total pain in the neck. Told me off for my hair and say sth like: wad will other ppl from other UG group think of NPCC when ur attire is like that. I wanted to tell her "Too bad, everyone has such hairstyle too, they wont feel a thing. Much less tarnish the reputation of NPCC" HA! and I totally made her embarassed because she could not find a thing to reply me when she asked how many sirs or mdms have warned me about my hair and I said 1 and that is only HER! Too bad, my hair dun pose a problem to any other ppl except her. That is just so sad... Plus, we are NCOs, why the hell shuld we be asked to fall in with the cadets by them. We can jolly well fall in on our own without needing the sirs and mdms to ORDER us la. AND for god sake, not all of them understand that the camp is run by the NCOs which means that they shuld learn how to respect our decision and actions. I am sorry if they did not learn about mutual respect but only learn how to wait for others to respect them but we are not those who can tolerate such CHILDISH behaviour of thinking that the whole world shuld listen to them. Plus, they apparently do not know how to appreciate what the NCOs have done, they think that their traditional way of doing things are the best. Bull shit! If they take everything we do for granted then they might as well be the ones who plan the camp instead. They keep asking us to get some rest when they are the ones who held us back to lecture us for so long. Total crap. How unreasonable can they get? And that cowardly asshole Sir OQH! He is wad the fuck annoying. My shirt was totally tucked in, even the blind can tell but he asked me to tuck it in in front of other sirs and mdms AND my cadet, he is so gonna get it from me during future acts. I wonder if there is a problem with his fucking eyes la. He has got no courage at all, during normal acts when there is no one there to back him up, he dun even dare to make a single sound. During the camp, he got a mountain of supporters so he keep making those retarded comments. What a retard he is. He practically went around and say to almost all the NCOs some stupid comments which make eeveryone roll eyes at him. I still thought he was a mute during daily act. Seems like he hasn't been given a chance to talk for a long time. He shuld stop thinking that everyone likes him especially when his own squadmates hate him too! This camp totally sucks with such people in it. They totally got no idea how unreasonable and stupid they are. Bunch of snobbish assholes! So what if ur ranks are higher than ours? That does not give u the right to treat us the way u treat us. If you want others to respect u, u jolly well earn them and not force them out of others! Thursday, March 12, 2009 ITC is tmr.... This time round I am going for the camp as a NCO which means that it will be more slack for us than the past years though it is not going to be very easy. My stomach hasn't been very well these days. Hope it will not pose as a problem during ITC :( Careers Friday, March 06, 2009 I just did the e-career thing and I am totally wondering if the system is accurate though Jess says that it is accurate for me but not her. She says it suggested that she should be healthcare assistance or police officers. I agree with her that it is so not her career, I mean the police officer one but the healthcare one is fine. Jess is too gentle to be a police officer. She plays a piano and not guns -.- Laura was suggested a career as a kindergarten principal. Totally shocking... She doesn't like kids at all la. You will probably see her brandishing a cane and all the kids will just scamper away. This proves the inaccuracy of the system. As for me, I won't say I totally disagree with the first choice because I quite like the idea of the career they suggested that should suit me. The order of the careers that matches me are as of below: 1. Producer-Presenters (work in music station or information station. probably a DJ?) - People in this occupation produce and present music and magazine programmes that are heard on music stations. 2. Public Relations Officers - People in this occupation help businesses, in both the private and public sectors build and maintain positive relationships with the public through good media relations and brand management campaigns and activities. 3. Advertising Copywriters - People in this occupation develop ideas and wordings for advertisements. 4. Costumed actors/performers (Just think about all those disney characters played by ppl in disneyland) - Costumed Actors/Performers create fun for people visiting amusement and/or theme parks. - They interact constantly with guests. Hence, it is important that they keep smiling and not have their body language convey any hints of irritation or impatience. If they are in a costume, they must also not let their voice become even slightly edgy. 5. Artistes (everyone knows this) 6. Broadcast journalists 7. TV producers 8. Cabin crew  - People in this occupation are responsible for the care, comfort and safety of airline passengers before, during and after their flights.9. Kindergarten principals 10. Childcare centre Supervisors 11. Senior Community Development Officers - People in this occupation promote strong community bonding through their involvement in Community Development Councils.12. Welfare Officers - People in this occupation assist their clients with obtaining financial help, counselling, health care, rehabilitation, etc - They also evaluate the implementation of welfare policies and recommend changes to those policies13. Hairstylists 14. Journalists/Reporters Hows that? The job that fits me most is producer-presenters.(Wow!) It says that the occupation which is of the artistic aspect is most similar to my pattern of interest followed by social and then enterprising. Following on are investigative, conventional and finally realistic. No doubt this assessment is cool but whether it is accurate or not, is another matter :D  Thursday, March 05, 2009 What the shit. CID's proposal is to be done by March =.= We have not even settled on any idea yet though we got a list of them and really crazy ones. Unfortunately, I can hardly remember most of them so ... can't share them :D Anyway, a while ago I still had this sudden brain-wave to post sth more interesting but sadly, these waves are too short. They are gone -.- There is this young LA teacher that is going to be taking our class for LA lessons for quite some time and she sort of made us buy this blue notebook to write reflections or whatever brain-waves that suddenly hit us. I think thats relatively cool but I feel like writing to her : My brain waves just come and go in a blink of an eye. Sorry. In the end, I decided to be nice and wrote about tattoos, which was random. Ran 2.4 with Bing Shen today and it was alright. At least I did not feel extremely unwell after the run though I sweat like mad. She was totally pale and thats probably because her skin tone is like that naturally and the run made her paler. I decided, my sec1 squad is totally entertaining. They never fail to make me laugh till my tears welled up in my eyes every single act. Ok, thats random. Oh. I want to bring up this person who is practically made up of shit, because the whole group of us agreed we would. Lee Theng came up with this whole ' FUQH ' campaign which almost everyone participated in.(which I thought was definitely a good idea to dea with this person I want to talk about) I thought I would only see such kind of human being in a drama or sth but who knows there is one in front of me. He totally hate this person and was determined to 'destroy' the person just because of some minor unhappiness. It totally sucks to have such gruesome people who wears a 'I-am-nice' mask when beneath it is a total shit, thinking that everyone in this world loves him when they are actually the opposite of loving him. He fabricated a tale trying to get his enemy into trouble and puposely plan a way to prevent his enemy from being able to defend and tell his/her part of the story. Definitely crafty huh? There are actually lot more stories but I feel like puking even to think about it.
